Elvis entertains our Community Friday Night!

As a finale to our Eastwood Read-A-Thon Skeet Deschaine entertained the community with his great Elvis impersonation!  Combined with our school wide read-a-thon we raised 5420.00!  This is money that will help us initiate our Library Revitalization Efforts!  We are truly blessed to have a community that cares so much about literacy.

“Reading is the great equalizer,” says Principal Cowper. “If you can read, you can be anything, do anything and make a difference in our world!  Mr. Roth, every teacher, our parent involvement committee and certainly our students should be congratulated for an incredible job on the event.

Skeet Deschaine felt a great deal of pride in helping our school out.  He entertained over 100 members of our extended community at the event on Friday night.  Laughter, dancing and a little screaming for the King was evident.

Thanks Skeet, Cam, and the Mini-band under the direction of Mrs. McKeen for the intermission entertainment!

Happy Mother’s Day

To all of our Eastwood Mom’s (teachers, parents, friends and family) Have a Happy Mother’s Day!
